Dr Cypress Garrett

Growing up in rural upstate New York the only thing Dr Garrett ever wanted to be was a doctor. As Dr Garrett began her undergraduate studies, she realized the tendency of medicine to mask symptoms rather than treat the underlying cause of the condition. Dr Garrett initially became a massage therapist and enjoyed helping many people with their pain, although she developed a special passion for working with pregnant women and cancer patients. She also trained as a birth doula, allowing her to further assist women during childbirth. Dr Garrett realized she wanted to be able to do more for her clients that she could do as a massage therapist. About that time, she realized that chiropractors fit her model of health care and she knew that this was the type of physician she wanted to be. Dr Garrett received her Bachelor’s in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. While at Logan, Dr Garrett enhanced her education obtaining a certificate in pediatrics.

Dr Garrett believes that chiropractic can support every body, regardless of their current state of health. She incorporates a variety of chiropractic techniques including low force and soft tissue techniques to help patients. While she believes chiropractic is for everybody she continues to have a great passion for working with women and children.
