About Dr. Erik Brown

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience how chiropractic care can benet their health. It is my mission to provide quality chiropractic care and promote wellness in my community at any opportunity available. I feel privileged to get to help patients regain their health and improve their quality of life.I have been a lifelong witness to the power of chiropractic care.

I firmly believe that receiving regular chiropractic adjustments throughout my childhood resulted in fewer missed days of school due to illness and quicker recovery from sports injuries.I also saw how chiropractic care helped my father avoid back surgery. The more I learned about the philosophy and science behind chiropractic, the more I got it and I was hooked! I was fascinated by the concept of the body healing and maintaining itself without the need for drugs or surgery. This fascination eventually led to my decision to not only be a chiropractic patient but to become a chiropractic physician. I have been a licensed chiropractor in the state of Missouri since obtaining from Logan University both my Bachelor’s Degree of Human Biology followed by my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001. I have been a resident of St. Charles County since 2002 and I live here with my wife and two daughters. I am a member of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association and the St. Peters Chamber of Commerce and I am heavily invoIved with the Cottleville/Weldon Spring Chamber of Commerce.I have spent my whole practice career in St. Charles county. I have been at Crosby Chiropractic and Acupuncture Centre, since 2005.

My mission is to provide quality chiropractic care and promote wellness in the community by educating people about the benefits of a lifetime of chiropractic care.I encourage patients to take an active role in their health care. As someone who has been a chiropractic patient since childhood and who still receives regular chiropractic care to stay well, I hope to be able to bring my type of quality of life to my patients. As a chiropractor I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages and while so many patients start their journey to health by coming in due to pain, I take great pleasure helping them see the benefits of improved quality of life by incorporating regular chiropractic care into their life.I use a variety of chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Cox and Activator and will choose the technique based on the needs of the patient. I also use passive modalities such as ultrasound or electronic stimulation to promote faster pain relief. In addition, I also use active therapies (exercise) to speed the healing process, improve function and posture or to aid with soft tissue healing and repair. I am willing to do everything in my power to help patients regain their health and I believe in a teamwork approach with my patients when it comes to doing so. First and foremost, I feel it is very important to educate my patients on what true health really is and how lifelong chiropractic care contributes to a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy empowering my patients by giving them the knowledge and tools to take personal responsibility for their health.

My patients can expect me to take a detailed history and perform a thorough examination, which may include bloodwork or X-rays, to get to the root cause of their problems and establish the appropriate care plan. While care plans can vary from patient to patient based on their ailments, treatment may not be restricted to just chiropractic adjustments. When necessary, I will co-treat my patients with other specialists in order to achieve the best outcomes for them. True health requires a whole body approach. I am a rm believer that, when properly applied, chiropractic care is not only perfectly safe, but is also beneficial to people of all ages. I have treated patients through all stages of life, including treating my own children from the time they were born. I have treated many women, including my wife, through the many aches and pains that can accompany pregnancy and labor. PS.Not all of my patients are treated for acute ailments. I am a Certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation and I provide physicals for employment and school athletics.I am also available upon request for educational lectures and health screenings in or out of our office.
